Back in the late 80's/early 90's, I was involved in illustrating a superhero comic for Greater Mercury Comics. While I wasn't a fan of the stories, I put all I had into the art. I did the art while holding down a full time job, working evenings and weekends to get them done. My friend Gary Wray helped by coloring the covers. You might be able to get them real cheap at some comic shops or on ebay. I'll post the rest of the covers tomorrow.
Just to let you know I'm still here. My computer took it upon itself to demand a vacation, so, no posts for a couple more days. Stick with me 'cause I ain't done yet.
This is courtesy of "Fab Ion #6". It has become a fan favorite for those who have seen it. It originated when an Asian immigrant I worked with proclaimed, out of the blue, "Everybody has a skull." He was so proud.
Another collaboration with Gary Wray (Monster Alley). Done the same way as the "Cheap Thrills" page (7/21/08 post). My favorite panel is the Wright's Silver Creme one.
