Mad am I? I'll show you mad!!

Howdy,

This is was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen growing up.

It's from Mad Magazine #104 featured in an article written and drawn by Al Jaffee about advertising on postage stamps.

I finally found it.

Howdy,

Don't remember if this was posted before, and I'm too lazy right now to check, so here ya go.

Howdy,

One of many freebies for a friend of the wife.

A home association wanted drawings of the houses that would be participating in the open house tours. This is one of them.

The Adventures of Wild Bill Built-up

Howdy,

Based on a real guy from the old neighborhood, my brother was friends with the son. Wild Bill was not exactly a "Liberal" thinker back in the late sixties. He was a true redneck with a handicapped leg (one was shorter than the other, hence the built up heel).Comments made were true to his world view, whether we like them or not.

Done on cheap soft drawing paper with a crowquill pen nib.

Santa Death

Howdy,

Did this for a guy I worked with. It was to represent an earlier legend of Santa.

I forget where I got this.

Pogs: Air Races pt.1

Howdy,

Remember me?

Here are a couple of fellows you might remember from an earlier posting.

After the "Nuclear Bowl" set of pogs (see the earlier post for that as well), I thought it would be wise to create a couple of other sets should they hopefully be needed. HA!!

This set was based on ideas I had for a story of an around the world race in big rockets. I did a few character drawings for the pilots and crews, the ships they would fly, and then some scenes with landmarks of different counties.

Enjoy!
