More influences
Howdy,
After John Severin and Will Eisner, the next biggest influence on my art would have to be Mort Drucker. Most people know him only as the guy who does the brilliant movie and television satires for Mad magazine. He also did some great stuff before that, most notably for the line of DC war comics. His soldiers look like real people, not the super-soldiers of most war comics. The machinery has an authentic feel to it.
Here is a story from "All American Men of War #58".

Fine Art pt.2
Howdy,
I have a thing for painting tigers. This one I started with oils and brushes. I then finished it off by rubbing the edges of green and brown with an old cloth. Sped up the process that way and gave it a kind of speedlines effect. I was really pleased with the way it turned out, which , as any one who knows me will tell you, is not very often.
